User Agreement

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding document between you (“User”, “Member”, “you”, or “your”) and Sutarzade Mahasangh Matrimony (“Platform”, “Website”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). It governs your access to and use of the matrimonial services provided through our Website, mobile site, and any related services.

By registering, accessing, or using this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement, along with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

1. Acceptance of this Agreement

By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you:

• Confirm that you have the authority to enter into this Agreement.
• Agree to comply with all rules, policies, and guidelines published on the Website.
• Provide your free and informed consent to use the Platform for matrimonial purposes.

2. User Eligibility & Representation

• You confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Terms & Conditions (minimum legal marriageable age and competence to marry as per applicable law).
• You represent that you are registering either for yourself or for a close family member (such as son/daughter/sibling) with their full knowledge and consent.
• You confirm that you are not entering into this Agreement for any illegal, immoral, or non-matrimonial purpose.

3. Account Creation & Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at the time of registration and to keep it updated throughout your use of the Platform.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login ID, password, and any OTPs sent to your registered mobile number or email.
• Any activity carried out using your account will be considered as done by you or with your authorisation. You agree to immediately inform us in case of any unauthorised use or security breach.

4. Profile Information & Accuracy

• You agree to provide true and correct details regarding your name, age, education, profession, family background, marital status, and other profile fields.
• Misrepresentation of age, marital status, caste/community, or any critical personal detail is strictly prohibited and may lead to suspension or termination of your account without refund.
• You understand that other members rely on the information you provide while shortlisting and communicating with you.

5. Permitted Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform strictly for genuine matrimonial purposes and in a manner that does not:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or community guidelines.
• Involve any form of harassment, abuse, or indecent behaviour towards other members.
• Promote commercial advertising, business marketing, or unrelated services.
• Include sharing of obscene, vulgar, defamatory, or hateful content.
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or misuse member data for any external database or listing.

6. Communication & Contact Consent

• By registering, you give your consent to receive communication from us via SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, emails, or in-app notifications related to your account, matches, and service updates.
• You agree to use the contact details of other members responsibly and only for genuine matrimonial discussions.
• Any misuse of member contact details, including spamming, harassment, or unsolicited business promotion, is a violation of this Agreement.

7. Membership Plans & Services

• Some features of the Platform may be available only to paid members as per the membership plans displayed on the Website or communicated officially.
• By purchasing a plan, you agree to the applicable fees, validity period, and features associated with that plan.
• Payments, renewals, and any refund-related terms are governed by our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

8. User Content & Conduct

• You are solely responsible for the information, photos, documents, and other content you upload or share on the Platform.
• You confirm that the content you upload does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• We may review, blur, hide, or remove any content that appears objectionable, misleading, or in violation of this Agreement or applicable law.

9. Data, Privacy & Security

Our collection, storage, and use of your personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy published on the Website. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to that Privacy Policy, including how your data may be shared with prospective matches within the Sutarzade Mahasangh network.

10. Third-Party Services

• We may use third-party payment gateways, communication tools, or analytics services to operate and improve the Platform.
• Your use of such third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for any issues arising purely from such third-party platforms.

11. Suspension, Deactivation & Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we find any violation of this Agreement, misuse of the Platform, or behaviour harmful to other members.
• You may request deactivation or deletion of your profile by contacting us through the official contact details provided on the Website.
• Certain information may be retained for a reasonable period for legal, security, or record-keeping purposes, even after account termination.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation

• The Platform is an intermediary that facilitates contact between prospective brides, grooms, and their families. We do not guarantee the character, background, or intentions of any member.
• We do not guarantee that a suitable match will be found or that engagement/marriage will result from using the Platform.
• You agree that all interactions, meetings, and decisions are undertaken by you and your family at your own judgment and risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sutarzade Mahasangh and its representatives are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

13. General Provisions

• This Agreement shall be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
• If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
• This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Maharashtra, India, as applicable.
