Welcome to Sutarzade Mahasangh Matrimony (referred to as “Platform”, “Website”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our matrimonial services including website, mobile site, and any related services provided by Sutarzade Mahasangh.

By accessing, registering on, or using this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Platform.

1. Nature of Service

Sutarzade Mahasangh Matrimony is a community-based matrimonial platform created primarily for members of the Sutarzade community and related families. Our objective is to provide a digital platform for suitable matrimonial alliances. We are not a dating, friendship, or entertainment service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be legally competent to marry as per the laws applicable to you.
• For male members: you should be at least 21 years of age.
• For female members: you should be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be registering either for yourself, your son/daughter, sibling, or a close family member with their knowledge and consent.
• By registering, you confirm that you are not prohibited from entering into a marriage under any law currently in force.

3. Account Registration & Profile

• To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and updated information as per the registration form.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login ID and password and for all activities under your account.
• You agree to provide only truthful and correct information about your personal details, family details, education, profession, hobbies, and other profile fields.
• We reserve the right to verify details (manually or through phone/WhatsApp/email) and to approve, modify, or reject profiles that are incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate.

4. Community & Verification

• This Platform is intended mainly for the Sutarzade community. We may request additional documents or references to verify your community and identity.
• Verification by us (if done) is limited and based on the information you provide; we do not guarantee the authenticity of any profile or claim.

5. Use of the Platform

You agree that you will not:

• Create multiple accounts for the same person or impersonate another individual.
• Post or share any content that is false, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Use the Platform for any commercial, promotional, or business solicitation without our written permission.
• Harass, threaten, or misuse the contact details of other members.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt the Website or its services.

6. Membership, Fees & Payments

• Basic registration may be free, while certain features (like viewing contact details, sending more requests, etc.) may be part of paid membership plans.
• All fees/charges for paid plans will be displayed on the Website or informed to you through our official communication channels.
• Payments once made are generally non-refundable except where explicitly mentioned in our Refund Policy or required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change membership plans, features, and pricing at any time, with such changes being updated on the Website.

7. Communication & Matchmaking

• Based on your profile, preferences, and the information provided by other members, the system may show you suggested matches.
• Any communication between members (chat, calls, messages, meetings) is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
• We strongly recommend that you and your family independently verify all details and conduct proper background checks before proceeding towards engagement or marriage.

8. Content Ownership & License

• You own the information and content (photos, documents, texts) you upload to the Platform, but by uploading you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and process this content solely for providing the matrimonial services.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you also agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy, including how we collect, store, use, and share your information within the Sutarzade Mahasangh network and with prospective matches.

10. Suspension & Termination

• We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms or if your behaviour is found to be inappropriate, fraudulent, or harmful to other members or to the Platform.
• You may request deactivation/deletion of your profile by contacting us through our official contact details provided on the Website.
• Even after termination, certain data may be retained for a reasonable period as required for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.

11. Disclaimers

• The Platform acts only as an intermediary providing an online platform for members to connect with prospective matches.
• We do not guarantee or take responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of member profiles.
• We do not guarantee that a suitable match will be found or that any marriage will result from using the Platform.
• All interactions, meetings, and decisions are solely your responsibility; you are advised to exercise due care and involve elders/guardians in the process.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sutarzade Mahasangh, its committee members, volunteers, employees, or service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in any way connected with the use of this Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or disputes between members or families.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sutarzade Mahasangh, its office bearers, representatives, and service providers from any claims, demands, losses, or damages, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with the date of the latest revision. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Maharashtra, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
